Traditional Japanese Fishing Fleet Flags

The Sanwa Fisheries shop caught my eye with its pronounced use of traditional Japanese fishing fleet flags called tairyo-bata. Use of the flags flown off the coast letting people waiting at the port know in advance that there was a lot of work to be possibly dates back more than 300 years.
