Flowers and Grazing Ewe

The Makaino Ranch, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, gives visitors the opportunity to see farm animals up close and from a distance. This ranch is especially good for family outings and for children growing up in urban settings where the only exposure to farm animals is what they see in picture books. This shot was taken with one of the many flower beds that are scattered throughout the ranch.
